Indoor extreme

Thanks to  everyone for all the support and encouragement for my rowing challenge. It was a tough challenge. I always knew that my bum and lower back were going to be the nemesis. There is no pressure relief; at least with cycling you do get to lift your bum off the saddle every few minutes.  In the end it was pure vasbyt. It was a  great lesson in mind over matter. Being able to chat to friends was a huge distraction from the  pain. Rowing is a fantastic full body workout. I can highly recommend it; but maybe not for 100km. If I ever start mentioning rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, then please remind me of the  bum pain (or, to invest in a continental cushion or donut ring thing). 

Challenge completed in 9h22minutes.
